For the mechanical connections between steering wheel and turning vehicle wheel are eliminated(steering wheel communicate with turning vehicle wheel through electric control signal). Automotive steer-by-wire system get rid of limitation of tradition steer system, which can not only design force transfer trait freely , but design angle transfer trait for vechile steering. Automotive steer-by-wire system is a important innovation which bring infinity design space and great improve steer capability.Main contents:In chapter one, we introduce the development of power assist steer system and research status,principle, structure,key parts, classification of steer-by-wire system.In chapter two , the basic structure , work principle and characteristic of steer-by-wire system are introduced, we make out a new drive feel simulator which can provide enough drive feel for the driver, microprocessor hardware system of steer-by-wire system, anti-jamming and time-trigger technology are the emphases of this chapter.In chapter three, steer-by-wire system mathematics model is builded up and we make out dynamics equation of system. Base on the research of system model, we analyse the control drive feel and control arithmetic for front wheel steering of steer-by wire system, improve vehicle stability through signal feedback control. We work out control strategy for target current and investigate the control arithmetic. At last , we compare the PID arithmetic with FUZZY-PID control arithmetic.In chapter four, we choose 16bit SCM for control system and design every module software of control system base on modularization design.Finally, Chapter 5 sums up above contents . Proceed to analyze and discuss for some problems and the place that needed the further improvement.
