The traditional laminate composite not only has the weakness of the lower strength between layers,easy damaged after impacted,the much more reduced strength in mechanism joint with abrupt geometry shape,but also has the defaults that including delamination,fibre-matrix shearing,matrix crack and lower life.Because of the whole braid of the multi-orientations,braided composite materials overcome the defects of the traditional laminate composite and reinforce the equality of intensity in every orientation,and is a new advanced material for the time being.Braided composite materials with distributed piezoelectric systems are widely applied in many industries,such as aerospace industry etc. In this paper,the research work is mainly including following: (1) The laws and properties of piezoelectric are discussed in detail and the selection rule of piezoelectric actuator is presented.(2) The finite element model of piezoelectric plate structure are derived,two examples are given to demonstrated the application of the mechanical models.(3) 2.5-D braided composite technics is analyzed and the mechanical model is set up to analyze it's mechanical properties. (4) The technics of 3-D 4-orientation braided composite materials is given,the micro-scope mechanical performance is analyzed and the mechanical model is derived.(5) The braided composite material driven by piezoelectric material is separated to piezoelectric material and braided composite materials,the deformation of the braided composite material is controlled by the volt given. This paper analyzes the deformation of the braided composite material driven by piezoelectric material with the finite element analysis software ANSYS.The study work provides powerful technique support for self-adaptive composite blade.
