In this thesis,a numerical simulation for the flow field around the seat/occupant ejection seat system which acts an important role in the analysis and calculation of stability and flight line and savinglife is evaluated using full compressible N-S equation. At first, aerodynamic analysis and application of the systerm is introduced; Then numerical simulation of the paper is discussed, which involves the grid generation technique of Hilgenstock, appropriate k ?εturbulence model and wall function for the compressible turbulent flow, the SIMPLER algorithm in an unstaggered grid system, SMART scheme and the method of deferred correction ,multigrid used in the arithmetic of nonlinear equations. At last a numerical simulation for brif geometric modle of the 2-D seat/occupant ejection seat system is evaluated. Based on the analysis of the computational result, with the increase of mach number the negative pressure of the pilot's pate and the upwind pressure are both bigger; At the same mach number the region of back flow minishes with the increase of the attach angle. The characteristic of this thesis is the simulation for the flow field around the blunt body by the compressible SIMPLER algorithm. It will benefit for the study of transonic and supersonic speeds in the future.
