The DC electromotor has good characteristics in rotated speed regulating. As a result, The DC electromotor Rotated Speed Regulating System are used broadly in kinds of production sections which require better quality of automatic controlling up to now. The DC electromotor Rotated Speed Regulating System which utilizes SCR convertor is called V-M System. It has already become the main form of The DC electromotor Rotated Speed Regulating System because of its superiorities in function, credibility and economy. Along with the extensive application of CPLD/ FPGA which is based on the EDA technology, the electronics design technique is facing another breakthrough of larger meaning after the appearance of singlechip computer. In this background, with the application of CPLD in V-M System, a digital SCR trigger circuit with phase shifting is developed which is absolutely different from the former ones. The D/A conversion and the special chip or device used to trigger SCR are terminated because of its application. At the same time, the system is stronger in the ability of anti-interference and stabilization, the singlechip's resource is saved efficiently too.And the most important thing is that the technique of EDA is a kind of pure hardware development asking for help from the method of software during the CPLD development, so its flexibility is so powerful that never a traditional way can catch. At the same time, along with the fierce development of The Field Bus technique, the entirely digital control system based on it will become the mainstream of the automatic control system in the 21th century. As a representative kind of The Field Bus, The CAN Bus is better in reliability, real time ability and flexibility than others. The application of The CAN Bus technology in the design makes the V-M system possesses the communication interface connecting to The CAN Bus net. As a result the system is provided with the functions of supervise online, alarm and recording. At the same time the V-M system can be controlled by the computer connected to it. Its parameters can be setting and modified by the same way. And the maintenance is more easier. In the thesis, the development history of The V-M DC electromotor Rotated Speed Regulating System and significance of this design task are introduced firstly. After that, the general research on The CAN Bus, CPLD and EDA technique is performed. At last, with the support of singlechip, VB, and MCGS configurational software technology, the hardware and software design on The V-M DC electromotor Rotated Speed Regulating System are completed successfully. And the feasibility of design is testified by practice.
