It is important to measure the thickness of material precisely without destroying the material in industry. Now most ultrasonic equipments of measuring are taking the method of just measuring a point. These equipments can't measure the pipe consecutively, which are older than the foreign. In this article, the pipes were measured by ultrasonic impulse out it, and could be measured consecutively by 8 channels at the same time.It has two parts, one is about the system of 8 channels consecutive ultrasonic detecting, the other is the amelioration. During the debugging of the circuit, some limitations were found. In the second part another method of subarea detecting was used to mend the limitations. The new method not only could measure the thickness but also could detect the faults.It could create many data using the new method, so the extraction technology was used in the second part. The extraction method not only could extract the data but to find the pattern of data. And it was useful to the next. In the extraction methods, the APEX was studied in the ultrasonic detecting signal.
