In modern industrial testing and controlling field, multi-types signal measurement and digital processing become more and more important, their needs for real-time, veracity, easy carrying and expansibility also become more and more high. Moreover, it can meet industry testing and controlling developing needs only through designing testing and controlling instrument and meter with more complete function, more high precision and more high velocity. Now traditional MCU(8-bit or 16-bit SCM) is still the kernel of most testing and controlling instrument and meter. It is inexpensive, stable and wide-application. But there is ubiquitous weakness such as weakness in digital signal processing, difficulty of complicated algorithm realizing and complicated peripheral circuits to meet the need of extending system performance. So it is very necessary to research and develop a kind of multi-types signal measurement and digital processing system, microprocessor of which has abundant peripherals on chip to predigest peripheral circuits with high speed and function.There is much production in this field now, but few production with the above high function in domestic air-condition testing field. This paper presents a new kind of research and design of TMS320F240 DSP based air-condition multi-parameter synthetical testing instrument and provides the system composing, realizing method of software and hardware. It can realize real-time air-condition running noise A-weight pressure measurement and frequency sects analyzing with a new method of software 512 points FFT to decrease hardware and increase precision and stability, temperature measurement and control with a new method of Fuzzy Logic Control adjusting PID online, the correlative testing data display by LCD and output through RS-232 serial communication interface. It not only provides powerful supports in air-condition quality testing, but also a new, practical way and wider developing space for DSP in design and application of industrial testing instrument and meter.
