The experimental research was made for such mechanical properties of orthogonal section as ultimate bearing ability, crack width and deformation with 20 laminated beams of partly prestressed concrete unbounded, 2 of them as comparative beams. On the basis of the experimental research and theoretical analysis, the calculation method is promoted for the bearing capacity of orthogonal section of laminated beams of partly prestressed concrete unbounded. The calculation formula is advanced for maximum crack width and deformation corresponded to the present 《Design Code for Concrete Structure》 (GB50010-2002) considering the force bearing property of two stages of the laminated elements of concrete ,combined with recent research results for beams of partly prestressed concrete unbounded. The comparison between the result calculated from the above formula and the experimental result shows that the calculation precision is high enough to meet the demand of project design.
