This paper presents a detailed experimental study and ANSYS nonlinear finiteelement analysis of two-way prestressed laminated concrete slabFirstly, based on the static load destructive experiment of the rectangular slab whichis composed by four prestressed thin concrete plates with ribs, the effect is observed,which consist of the cracking characteristics,the laws of load-deflection and the lawsof load –strain of reinforced bar and concrete. The experimental results show that thiskind of slab performs excellent in strength and stiffness, and it meets the regularservice conditions of bearing capacity and deformation. The destructive feature oftwo–way slab can be seen from the character of crack pattern and damages of the floor.Furthermore, according to the load-strain curves of reinforced bar and concrete, it canbe observed that this kind of floor presents bidirectional effect. And the mechanicalnature of slat is studied by analyzing the feature of integral edge joint.Secondly, based on the experimental study and the relevant theory of generaltwo-way reinforced concrete slab, the cracking load and the ultimate bearing capacityof two-way laminated floor are calculated and analyzed. As a result, the formulas ofcracking load, upper and lower ultimate bearing capacity are obtained. And thetentative plastic method of reinforcing bars considering security is concluded.Lastly, nonlinear finite element analysis of one-way and two-way prestressedlaminated slab is proceeded adopting ANSYS program. Contrasting the curves ofload-deflection, bearing capacity and the divergence graph of crack, the finite elementanalysis is proved feasible and appropriate. Moreover, the stiffness is discussed andthe application of this new floor in steel structure work is introduced according to casehistory.Above-mentioned research findings can provide references for engineeringapplication and further study of the two-way prestressed laminated concrete slab.
