Analysis Of The Foundwork Settlement Mechanism & Computer Program And Calculation Of Soft Soil Roadbed Settlement

Currently, code for design of building foundation and code for design of roadbed has the explicit ruling provision to the foundation settlement, but there is a big difference between the result of the foundation settlement calculation and the practical result of the foundation settlement, particularly the calculation result of the soft soil roadbed settlement, not only computation is very complicated ,but also calculation value and actual settlement value are different actually greatly. So, to study the mechanism for settlement and find new method and paths that can reduce the gap between the calculation result and actual result of settlemnet is very significative.The main research of my paper is to study the mechanism of groundwork settlement and to analyze,at the same time,factors of difference between the result of the foundation settlement calculation and the practical result of the foundation settlement . On this basis, the three dimensions formula to calculate value of soft soil roadbed settlement is established.The main work of my paper includes four sections:1 .By comparing area method and the traditional layering total methods,that two resultes of two kinds of methods are very near to each other when the layering thickness is not over one meter was found,and both of relative error is not over l%.At above nalytical foundation of research , the calculating procedure of the layering total method is drew up.Given the importation necessity of the soil parameter,the procedure can compute a foundation steelement value .Then the calculation result is inputed into the Excel form. Thus automatic formation calculation book would be finished.2.On the basis that additional stress was analyzed, the integral calculus of additional stress coefficients was gained and the average value was taked. Then the coefficients of ration between the average value coefficients and the biggest value of foundation center was gained .By analyzing them, that there is a law during transformation of them is foundout .Thus the influence that stress made to settlement was clear.Then the problem how to confirm the value of Es was studied ,and reason why the result of the foundation settlement calculation is bigger than practical result is find out.3.After analytical research for the soft soil settlement,the problem during the soft soil settlement calculation is clarified,and essence that value of calculation is smaller than practical value for soft soil settlement is explained.4.On the basis of above analytical research, combined with the problem existing in soft soil roadbed settlement calculation ,a three dimensions formula to calculate soft soil roadbed settlement is deduced.And the formula is closely-related to time.At last,the settlement of actual roadbed is calculated with the formula. Then the result of calculation and practical result of soft soil roadbed are compared.The result that they are very near to each other was found out.But only after practical calculation,the formula can be applied in engineering calculation.
