A Study On Fugu Historic City And Its Ancient Architecture

For it's valuable ancient architecture and lengthy history about warfare and communion between different civilizations, Fugu city was authorized one of the historic and cultural cities in Shanxi Province in 1993.Up to present, there are still so much deficiency about the cognition to the historic value of Fugu historic city and its ancient architecture that the demand of a deeply research is essential and imperative. Based on the integrated collection and research on its history and physical characteristics, this paper first approaches to subjects of Fugu historic city on the historic military fares, the geography environment and the space distribution and organization of military complex; secondly based on the investigation and appraising to the ancient city and its architecture, according to the pertinent theories of preserving the historic cultural city and ancient architecture heritage, points out the present problems in the preservation aspects, discusses and process a series of thought-out suggestions of its preservation and development.
