At present various types of external fixator are used clinically. But during war time the fixation of fracture should be completed as quick as possible, so the unilateral type of external fixator is widely adopted. The application of external fixator in wounded personnel leads to significant elevation of the treatment level of fracture during the war, some fracture cases needed amputation in the past, the wounded extremities can the reserved.
