Study On The System Of The Settlement Forecast Of The Soft Foundation And Its Application

In the process of engineering construction, the treatment of the soft clay foundation can't do without the forecast of the settlement. For the sake of controlling the development deformation of the embankment in the process of construction, the development observation and the system of the development forecast of the soft foundation must be set up. On the one hand, it ensures embankment of safety and stability. On the other hand, it forecasts the post-construction settlement correctly to make control the post-construction settlement under the permit of the range of the design. Therefore, monitoring and forecasting for the settlement deformation of roadbed, which are of important significance to the actual engineering.At present, there are many forecasting methods of the settlement of the soft foundation. Each method has its shortcomings and virtues and its suitable conditions. Which method on earth, to be chosen is decided with difficult. This needs comprehensive compare. Then the high precision of the forecast will be chosen as forecasting model. However, the compare can bring about large workload of calculation, low automatic degree and low work efficiency, which is not convenient to actual engineering application. A great deal of data is obtained by observing on the spot. The treatment and the management of the data are artificial, cockamamie and complicated, which can't avoid the influence of artificial factors and result in error data. In addition, the analysis of the monitoring results and the application of the data seem to be single and scattered. They also are not used intelligently and effectively. Based on these questions, a system of the settlement forecast of the soft foundation has been put forward in the paper. In the system, many forecasting models have been generalized to establish model base. A huge data that observed on the spot have been managed and treated by database. The forecast information system has been established by connecting model base with database, which can improve greatly automatic degree of the settlement forecast of the soft foundation.In the paper, it is analyzed in detail that the settlement forecast models of the soft foundation and the results observed on the spot. And the application virtues of database are introduced. Based on this study, the settlement forecast informationsystem of soft foundation combining with the great function of database has been established, which gets together the general situation of engineering database with deformed monitor information database, the settlement forecast models and the forecast results database. And a software system has been formed which gets together inquiry, compile management, data treatment, forecast and visual result. The system adopts the Access database to establish the general situation of engineering database, the deformation monitoring information database and the forecast results database, MATLAB to compile calculate program of each forecast model and Visual Basic to connect with each database and run the whole system. Using the project of the settlement monitoring of the soft foundation of the highway from Guangzhou to Wuzhou as the example, the paper studies on the settlement forecast of the soft foundation in the process of the construction, which applies the settlement forecast information system of the soft foundation and the ANN model. It makes simulated control of the roadbed construction. Practice shows that the system not only operates simply but also forecasts efficiently. It is convenient to apply for practical project.
