The universal power plant coal-fired boiler thermodynamic calculation software can be applied to the power plant coal-fired boiler with different structure of heating surface and different working medium flow pass. It is significant for the designer to analyse and compare each design schemes and to select the optimal design scheme and for the operator to analyse and compare each operating condition and to select the optimal operating condition.The tasks of developing universal boiler thermodynamic calculation software are to classify all kinds of relative elements of boiler, to establish their mathematic models and develop their componenst, to realize the juncture of the each elements of boiler and the universality of the boiler thermodynamic calculation methods and all kinds of layout modes of heating surface.According to the Soviet Union Standard method of boiler unit thermodynamic calculation in 1973 and up-to-date achievements in electric industry. The mainpoints of the principles and methods of single furnace boiler thermodynamic calculation are summarized in all aspects with polished, and the physical models and mathematical models of the heating elements and non-heating elements are established. By Access 2000 and Visual Basic 6.0, I have designed the data structure, have established the standard modules of matter characteristics of flue gas,air,water and steam and the class modules of combustion gases,calculation of thermodynamic equilibrium,heat transfer coefficient of semi-radiant and convection heat exchange and temperature differential coefficient of heat transfer, have developed the components which is linked to Access 2000 of heating elements and non-heating elements, and have come to the junction of thermodynamic calculation of each components by the three-elements array Array_y(a,b,c) which describles each elements of boiler.At the end, the boiler thermodynamic calculation of SG-1000 boiler with 5% flue gas recirculation and HG-200/100-10 boiler are carried out by this software and get their thermodynamic calculation result with rated load.
