It can scientifically control the direction of urban color development in a rational, objective and foresighted way.According to the mutuality between color and city, the research points out they are interdependent and supplement each other. The city development promotes the forming of urban color; the evolution of urban color provides rich nutrition for the urban culture and makes the further urban development. The research proves the urgency and importance of the color problem in the course of Chinese urbanization at present by analyzing the pertinent literature and data of urban color in both China and other counties.
