Nowadays, the problems such as environment pollution and energy resource shortage, are more and more concerned in the world, so that the development of electronic vehicle (EV) is accelerated to solve these problems, and the task of research and development EV is gradually urgent now, then the means of research and development EV are gradually perfected. At present, simulation on the computer, experiment on indoor test platform and experiment on true roads, are the main methods to research and develop EV. They have their own characters. The indoor test platform such as EV chassis dynamometer can carry out the experiments about EV, such as the battery, motor, energy management system and brake energy reclaiming system and so on, the method can eliminate no needing research factors, shorten notability the trial period, and can acquire more accurate, more entire and more in-depth test result in some aspects.My university is the one member of EV research and development program that is one of the nation "863" programs. To test the EV that is developed by my university, development of EV test platform is listed as the "211 "construction item of our university. And the aim is to develop EV chassis dynamometer and service for the research and development EV. The thesis is center around the program.The thesis quotes and absorbs some advanced research results, and develops and researches the indoor test equipment of EV. In the paper, the background and its significance, the EV test technology and its development, the source of the program, research aims and the direction of the program are introduced firstly. Then compares their performance of the EV and engine vehicle, and research the calculation method of the drive force and motor power of EV. Then introduces the all kinds of EV construction of drive motor to offer the reference for designing the EV chassis dynamometer. On the basis, the author designs the construction of EV chassis dynamometer, and selects DC motor as the load equipment, and establishes' the control model of DC electronic dynamometer, and establishes the measurement and control system. Finally, researches the software development technology of EV chassis dynamometer, based on the advanced test concept "software is apparatus" , mainly draws on the virtual instrument tool "LabVIEW" as the development platform, and introduces net virtual instrument technology and its application to automobile test systemSo far, in the thesis, the author already systematically analysises and researchesthe key technology of development EV chassis dynamometer. But the thesis is still comparatively superficial, and exists a lot of no-perfect parts for the sake of time, condition and capability.
