Field-bus is a kind of digital, bi-directional transmission and multi-branch communication network which connects intelligent equipment and automatic system. It is the production of synthesis and integration of computer technology, communication technology and control technology. It's an open and distributed new pattern and a focus of automatization.In recent years, with the development of micro-electric technique, computer technology and communication technology, the automatic technology of electric power has been developed rapidly too. Remote monitoring of Electric Power Parameters is the key technique to realize automatic management of electric power system. Following the rapid development of field-bus technology and wide application in a lot of fields, the combination of the two becomes the inevitable trend.Under the situation, based on one subject of power system, a Remote Measurement System of Electric Power Parameters based on CAN Bus has been studied in this paper.1. The particularity and real-time character have been considered emphatically. The overall design has abandoned traditional MPU structure, and adopted advanced DSP structure. It adopted figure strain wave algorithm and realized 128 point FFT algorithm, overcame the shortcoming of traditional algorithm, improved system measurement precision and the ability of resisting high times of interferes' greatly.2. It adopted CAN field-bus technology. Because CAN bus structure has the advantage of increasing and decreasing nodes with very conveniently, it breaks through DCS system defect of communication in the traditional electric automatic field.3. The interconnection and conversion between CAN bus protocol and the senior level protocol have been studied. Using the method of inside common data format inside the software, realized the protocol of the special-purpose gateway conversion and finished the address to vary with the route table. With packet length switch and flow control technology, it solved the conversion problem of data frame.Finally, this paper developed a concrete RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) system from hardware and software and realized the real-time remote measurement of Electric Power Parameters.
