Study On Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) And Demonstrating Test System

This paper firstly introduced the history and trend of Anti-Lock Brake system(ABS) of car and had a deeply research and analysis on the control strategies of ABS. Then this paper designed and developed the research and demonstrating test system, which was consist of power transmission module, ABS demonstration module, fault diagnosis module and data gathering module.This test system mainly solved following problems:1 .It successfully solved the difficult problem of hard to simulate brake process by power transmission designed rationally.2.Data gathering system based on Virtual Instrument technology was developed, which can dynamically test and analyze important parameters such as brake acceleration ,brake distance, slippage ratio etc.3.The ABS dynamically demonstration system controlled by microcontroller was developed, which can demonstrate the changing process of oil path and electric circuit and the impaction on ABS of different adhesion coefficient.4.The system of fault diagnosis and test was developed.The test system was proved that it can perfectly simulate the brake process of car by the test data comparison between actual car and braking bench and reached the goals of design.
