| A lot of protection measures to asynchronous motor and many kinds of protection devices both home and abroad are investigated in this thesis, then the thesis designs an asynchronous motor protection device with simple structure. The device is credible with high ratio of performance with respect to the cost. The protection device is a kind of microcomputer motor protection device, which is based on DSP56F807, a 16-bit Motorola digital signal processor. The device is easy to be maintained, because it uses a simple and special structure design. The device can protect many kind of motor fault, include rotor error,stator error,lower voltage,motor overheat and so on, and moreover, it realizes functions of remote control,remote sensing,remote adjustment,remote signal and disturbance recording. It has been proved that the device is reliable with high sensitivity after various kind of experiments.
