Fundamental Study On Event Recognition And Security Defense In Power System

The problem of power system security defense is not solved very well in the whole world. It makes people from all society circles in our country hurried that several international blackouts happened in 2003.This paper analyses reasons of each blackout has happened in our country and other countries up to now, and acquires some lessons from them, treatises main facets and theory systems about studies on blackouts. According to general characters of modern power system and practical conditions of our country's power system, propounds to design the security defense system to meet our country's power system actual needs from strategic angle. This paper also studies deeply event recognition in power system of it, according to event recognition application in traffic field etc.designs a event recognition system composed of hidden failure event recognition,fault event recognition and fault effect event recognition to meet the special needs for power system security defense to help the dispatcher to know continually actual conditions of the whole power system in order to carry out control strategies for preventing from blackouts.
