This paper mainly discusses the dynamic performance of water supply system used in high buildings, when the water flux and pressure change. Based on the vibration and noise signal analyzing, sources of noise have been recognized, and some measures have also been proposed. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) With the spectrum analysis method and finite element analysis, the sources of vibration and noise in the water supply system have been recognized.(2) Designing vibration isolator between pump and its basis. Mainly discuss the two layers isolation to obtain the transmission function curves under different ratios of mass and damper.(3)Designing the pipeline structure to acquire the ideal nature frequencies;Making use of buffer to reduce the water pressure pulsation.(4) To isolate power transmission, the flexible connection is added between the pipeline and pump, in order to improve the dynamic performance of the pipeline.It is proved that all of the measures are reasonable through the rebuilding the pipeline system. The conclusions of this paper have good application value in how to design water supply piping system in high building and how to reduce noise and vibration.
