Riverbed evolvement analysis, two-dimensional numerical model and physical model have been applied to analyze the effect of building of Shengmi Bridge or both building of Shengmi Bridge and scratch of ait on the navigation and flood. By analyzing the near future fluvial process of nanchang reach in Kan, the chrematistics of this reach have been summarized. The potential change of regime of river influenced by the building of Shengmi Bridge and the scratch of ait has been predicted. By using the two-dimensional water-sediment numerical model and the physical model, the change of water surface profile, flow field, hydrodynamics axes, the scour and deposition of riverbed and the included angle of the normal ling tothe axes of the bridge and the waterline after the building of the bridge and the scratch of ait has been researched part by part. The influences of these projects on flood control, navigation and regime of river has been analyzed.
