With the development of numerical technology of hydrokinetics and computer, there is considerable progress in the research of the three-dimensional turbulence field within the hydraulic machine; it has already become one of the focuses. Using CFD to simulate the flow of pump or pumping station, analysing, understanding and observing the structure of inside flow, will help us carry on the optimization design of some flowing parts of pump, predict the performance of pump or pumping station, develop the hydrokinetic theories and design of the pump or pumping station, promote the technology of pump or pumping station, guarantee the constructing quality of pump or pumping station, improve the technological feature of construction of pump or pumping station.N-S equation and k- ε model, three-dimensional ustructured grids, sliding net model which deals with the intervener of guide vanes and impellers, wall functions and SIMPLEC arithmetic are used in this text to simulate the inside flow of reversible axial-pump under different operating models and predict the exterior characteristic. From this, we can get the following achievement:1. The flux, head, efficiency and moment of every caculating point under positive and negative operation conditions.2. According to the result of calculation, predict the curve of Q-H, Q-η Q-M, analyse the variational tendency of each curve and compare the difference.3. The distributing of flowing velocity, total pressure and turbulence inside the pump of each working point.4. Through comparing with the section's distributing of velocity of flow, total pressure and turbulence at each working point under positive and negative operation conditions, analyse the factors affecting the efficiency and summarize the law of changing.
