With the devoting of infrastructions, the development of country and city water-supplying and irrigated farming, and the beginning of South-to-North Water Transfer Project, aqueduct has been playing an important role in these lifeline projects. To the structure of large-scale prestressed aqueduct, the acting law of prestressed reinforce to concrete and the using of FEM analysis software in aqueduct body were studied and discussed in detail in this paper, in which some valuable conclusions were obtained. The main contents were as follows:Firstly, The method of applying prestress and modeling in ANSYS was generalized and compared. To the characteristics of the structure of large-scale prestressed aqueduct, the distributing characteristics of prestress was analyzed and corresponding calculating program was discussed.Secondly, The appropriate model of prestressed equivalent analysis was built, based on the analysis in detail of acting law of prestressed reinforce to concrete, the method and theory of analysis of the characteristics of the structure of large-scale prestressed aqueduct by ANSYS was explored.Thirdly, The theory and method of prestressed aqueduct FEM simulation analysis and the simulation analysis and the technique of actualization in ANSYS were researched. Finally, Combined with the project in practice, FEM simulation was analyzed, and the stress and displacement rule of aqueduct body in different working conditions was calculated and analyzed. The applying method and procedure of prestress was researched, and some valuable conclusions were obtained.
