Heater, which transfers heat of combustion to work gas, is a key part of Stirling engine. The main problems of heater design have uniformity of mass-flow-distribution,uniformity of temperature and machining craft. Above of all, mass-flow-distribution is the most important one, it has important influence on efficiency of Stirling engine, and it is also the key to determining whether the heater design success or not.At first, this thesis gave three-dimensional numerical simulation of flow field inside heater and improved the heater structure. At second, in the case of taking regenerator effect into account, the paper simulated the inner three-dimensional flow field of regenerator and heater using commercial CFD software package-FLUENT, the result indicated that it was possible to improve mass-flow-distribution inside heater and, at the same time, reduce the production cost of regenerator and heater by arranging them the other way round. This thesis gives an optimum structure scheme with good craft, besides, it offers also the important theoretical foundatibn for structure improvement and production of heater and regenerator.
