With the energy and the increasingly serious environmental problems, renewable energy such as solar energy has been paid more and more attention. Disk type thermal power generation system because one has a unique advantage into the sun has the most potential utilization way, Sterling engine is a key component of disk type thermal power generation system, and the regenerator is one of the main parts of the important influence to the Sterling engine performance, this paper mainly conducts the research to the Sterling engine regenerator.Sterling engine is established in the Sterling cycle basis, to the various existing methods of analysis and its design depends on. one of the earliest and most classic is the Schmidt analysis, the most useful is the practical isotherm analysis method. In this paper, by using the two methods of the Sterling engine theory from the principle, the mathematical model and Simulation of the guidance.The heat system of the Sterling engine mainly affect the efficiency and the power, and the heat exchange system in the most research valuable component is the regenerator. Essential regenerator is Sterling parts in engine, an efficient Sterling engine is absolutely inseparable from the excellent performance of the regenerator, the systematic analysis and research of the regenerator, including simulation and experimental study.This paper simulated study adopts two methods:single cycle and multi-cycle method. First of all in a single cycle method under simulated composite porosity filling mode influence on flow and heat transfer characteristics of the heat exchanger, the porosity of the composite porosity and conclusion has the advantage; by comparing the different effect of the long diameter ratio of, that there is a best value; by contrast filling foam copper and stainless steel wire mesh regenerator performance, the copper foam regenerator starting time is quick, and the stainless steel mesh regenerator heat capacity is larger; the effects of different traffic flow increment, that there is a best value, should be reasonably selected according to the other conditions; the effects of different refrigerants, that the best comprehensive properties of helium.The preliminary results obtained from the single cycle method by considering the final plan the next step simulation research and design experiment. In the method, respectively, of copper foam of different porosity of the stainless steel wire mesh and nickel foam multiple cycle. Research and design in view of the actual Sterling engine operation, repeatedly made Sterling engine stability after determination, finally draws the conclusion and provide a theoretical basis for the experiment.Finally, according to the simulation experiment design cycle recuperator similar one performance parameter, the heat exchanger adopts stainless steel tube as the production of pipe material, manufacturing heater using electric heating mode, the use of copper tube water cooler. Finally, experimental data were measured, and compared with the simulation results, analysis the difference, mutual authentication, and draw the final conclusion.
