The aerodynamic characteristics of the aerial bombs with strakes and the aerial bombs with swept-back tail wings bave been investigated through experiments in high speed wind tunnel and numerical simulation. The experimental results given in the article indicate that the strakes can increase the lift to drag ratio greatlu, which plays an important role in gliding,ehen Mach less than 0.8 and the swept-back tail wings will improve the performance of the aerial bombs when the attack angle is around 5 degrees and Mach more than 0.7.The results of numerical simulation prove that it is feasible to design strakes for further development with CFD software --FLUENT in the future.
