| Bellows is widely used in many fields of modern engineering, especially inaeronautics and astronautics engineering, multilayer bellows is very valuable forapplication. The problem of the intensity, stiffness and stability of singlelayer bellows andmultilayer bellows are mainly studied in this paper,and the intensity ,stiffness andstability of singlelayer bellows and multilayer bellows are analysed by ANSYS. Theshell93 as the element of the model is chosen,and the model of singlelayer bellowsand multilayer bellows are established. The contact between the layers of multilayerbellows is considered and the analysis results are compared with the results calculatedby EJMA. The validity of the finite element method used in the paper is proved. The parametric design language APDL of ANSYS in modeling is used, so to savethe time of analysis and improve the efficiency of calculation. The stress distributingof singlelayer bellows and multilayer bellows and deformation between the contactpairs are analysed in the paper. The effection of the number of layers to stiffness ofmultilayer bellows and the number of waves to stability of singlelayer bellows arestudied. The limit of the stability load of multilayer bellows with contact is calculated.The base of structure analysis of multilayer bellows is found and the method can beused in engineering. |
