It always turns to rufuse to act, accordingly the electromotor ruin; or to act wrongly to stop the electromotor.In recent years, with the computer technology , automation theory and signal process technology development, it appears computer relay protection equipment with microprocess core. Compared with the traditional protection equipment, this new type has strong logic analysis and process function, it can implement perfect performance and complex protection manner. Also,it can own the malfunction record and analysis function, it can be easily builduped to network. Owe to the excellence that showed previously, it turns the delegate of the future electromotor.This article research not only on the intelligent electromotor protection equipment itself, but also it's communication with the computer.This article elaborated on some following parts:1) The status in quo of electromotor protection equipment and it's development direction.2) Analyse the theory of electromotor protection and bring forward idiographic protection form.3) Demonstrate and emulate an precision algrorithm on AC sample, and use it to this electromotor protection system.4) Design the hardware and software of the electromotor protection equipment base on DSP TMS320LF2407A.5) Communition with the electromotor protection equipment and computer, define the communication protocol,use Visual Basic language to implement the interface and communication program on computer.6) Design the data converter to the RS232 bus and CAN bus.7) The database tp storage electromotor protection equipment's data,use Visual Basic and Access.8) Point to the shortage of this system.
