The entire research subject is to research and develop an fiber-optic current and voltage measure system based on Faraday effect and Pockels effect against the background of the control system of the Dagang Oil Field's oil pumping equipment—high voltage great power frequency converter.. Considering the fact that the converter runs under high voltage and great power, the problem of its insulation and the disturbance are the important aspect to be considered, especially in the measure system which to accept the information of the whole system. As the advantages of fiber-optic current and voltage sensors on this aspect, this paper takes up with the design of an fiber-optic current and voltage measure system fitting to the characteristic of the high voltage great power frequency converter. This dissertation focuses on realizing the implementation of the conventional current and voltage measure system, namely researching a fiber-optic current and voltage measure system by using the fiber sensing principle and crystal electro-optic effect. After the optics calculation and matrix analysis, the MATLAB models of all the units in the optic circuit have been established. Then the fiber-optic current measure system and fiber-optic voltage measure system have been build by using these models. The simulation results show that the simulation models of the two systems is right. Based on it, the simulation models of high circular-birefringent fiber current measure system and BGO crystal fiber-optic voltage measure system have been build after selecting the optic units and designing the configuration of optic circuit. Then the results of simulation show that the two systems arefit for the facts of the high voltage frequency converter. In order to validate the performance of the fiber-optic current measure system, this dissertation presents the simulation of high circular-birefringent fiber current measure system with the input, which is the output of the conventional Hall current measure system build by myself that have been loaded in the computer, under the situation of the simulation of the huge current in laboratory. Finally, the results of simulation show that the system has a good real-time performance, high sensitivity and high precision, and is able to gain the accurate current and voltage information of the points to be measured, as well as overcome the shortcomings of the typical current and voltage transducer at the aspect of insulation and gain the end of resisting disturbance, accomplishing the electric separation well and measuring the current and voltage fast and accurately. In addition, the author also explains the shortcomings and requisite amelioration of the system, on which the author should undertake further research and improvement in the future.
