Since 21 century, concrete filled steel tubular structure has being used more and more widely. In order to prevent the buildings from being broken when the earthquake happens, the research of seismic behavior of concrete filled steel tubular structure is very necessary. The experimental and theoretical analysis about seismic behavior of steel beam-concrete filled steel tubular frame, a new kind of structural member developed in construction practice, is being done in this paper.In this paper, seismic behavior experiment about twenty-one specimens of the steel beam-concrete filled steel tubular frame subjected to reversed cycle lateral load is introduced, and the parameters of experiment include the rate of steel, steel strength and concrete strength and so on. Phenomenon of specimens wreck is described and the results of experiment is analysed. The parameters of experiment include the rate of steel and concrete strength which effect structure seismic behavior are studied, the form of steel bar and rib located inside steel tubular is analysed. The effect about seismic behavior of varying strength of concrete , is studied. The results show that the frame of steel beam-concrete filled steel tubular has the good seismic behavior.On the basis of experiment analyse, the theoretical analyse about the frame of steel beam-concrete filled steel tubular column under cyclic loading is put forward, the mechanical model is founded, the Visual-Basic calculation program is compiled based on numerical method, and the curve of moment-curvature is analysed, comparing theoretical calculation with the curve of moment-curvature of experiment, the results show theoretical calculation is more than the data of experiment, the warp agrees with the need. The results show the curve of moment-curvature can be gotten according to the theoretical calculation method in this paper.In this paper, the frame of steel beam-concrete filled steel tubular is analysed by ANSYS software. The model based on unified strength theory is founded and the calculation results are better. The precision of numerical method can be testified by finite element analysis of ANSYS.According to analysis results, moment-curvature relationship model of the frame of steel beam-concrete filled steel tubular column is reported in this paper.
