Study On Summer Thermal Environment Of The City Square

Along with the society economy and the development of urban construction , the environment quality requirement as for the living space of people also raising constantly . Seeking comfortable nature of indoor from early stage , the requirement as for the environment of outdoor step by step is also more and more higher . At this moment, the city square becomes city dwellers and designer's focal point as for this aspect concerned naturally .In the environment of outdoor , the hot environment is the most important . Thermal comfort of persons staying outdoors is one of the factors influebcing outdoor activities.The amount and intensity of such activities is affected by the level of the discomfort experienced by the inhabitants when they are exposed to the climatic conditions in these outdoor spaces.Therefore the hot environment of city square constructed and studied on well becomes a urgent assignment.This text chiefly uses the method of theoretical analysis and the data analysis.Choosing two typicals in Xi'an district city square - the wild goose northern square of buddhist pagoda and the bell building square in summer, the author has carried on air tempeture and humidity testing and asks rolling up an investigation . The test Indicates that the northern square of wild goose buddhist pagoda with the bell building square is compared to the hole air temperature and humidity and the change of entire temperature and humidity as well as the roll investigation all differently to some extent, but they both overall all exist the problems of the higher air temperature and the lower humidity as well as the smaller wind speed circumstances etcRelying on the analysis and evaluation of hot environment as for data and questionnaires., the text from two aspects analysis of data and thermal comfort has analysed the major factors of influenting hot environment of city square. The objects are : Both thermel comfortable degrees in summer all are in the dry uncomfortable state of heat basically , and the wild goose northern square of buddhist pagoda is slightly better than the bell building square. Sum up that the majorproblem includes the higher air temperature and low humidity and the Influence of solar radiation as well as the bad wind environment.Finally , on the foundation of analysis of data and theory analysis , author have been put forward the measures and methods of improving the hot environment of summer which include the utilization of planting trees and the water body, the hard modification that ground was spread to the nature, Effective sunshade design and several aspects such as the utilization of secret space, the improvement of the building design and wind environment.
