An experimental investigation on heat transfer enhancement by miniature hydraulic turbine is conducted. In the experiment the experimental condition is same, the Re number changes from 1.0X104 to 1.0X105,the influence of liquid resistance characteristic and heat transfer enhancement by the parameters such as Re number, screw-pitch, hubcap diameter is investigated.The resistance characteristic experimental result show that rotational speed keeps a linear relation with velocity of flow, rotational speed increases as velocity of fiow increases. Rotational speed relates to axes velocity of flow, an equation about Rotational speed and velocity of flow is gained through linearity fitting. The hydraulic turbine possess fine running characteristic and has big operated elasticity, which can run in the low-speed condition. It can satisfy the requirement of the heat exchanger in flow change and fluctuating.Heat enhancement experiment show that the hydraulic turbine possesses fine heat enhancement effect. The heat enhancement ratio of the hydraulic turbine and hollow pipe is always above 1,while Re number increases. Furthermore we can make out by analysis: the heat enhancement ratio of the hydraulic turbine with structure parameter (d=6) is great than that of structure parameter (d=5). The corresponding heat enhancement ratio increases as the structure parameter (h) creases with the same structure parameter (d). The heat enhancement ratio of modelY24 is the biggest, while modelY155 is the least. The resistance coefficient of hydraulic turbine increases as screw-pitch increases. We know that the heat enhancement condition of modelY25 and modelY15 is fine than the others through synthesize appraise.Background database platform is set up through Microsoft Access2002 software. Miniature hydraulic turbine experiment data processing system is developed by using Visual Basic 6.0 and MATLAB6.5, which possess some effects such as inquire database information interactively, display figure, data processing, data update.
