The homemade 300MW unit that adopting overseas advanced technique had a big proportion in the electrical network, and it's single unit capacity is too big. One 300MW unit taking on two-shift peal regulating operation, means saving 1.3 b.$investment on a same capacity LNG power plant, so the textual purpose is to analyzes the peak regulating capability of the type's set. To analyze the peak regulating capability of fossil-fired set, must synthesize the security, the economics, the flexibility of peak regulating operation. Consulting the peak regulating experiences of the domestic an international other type's fossil-fired sets, from both the theories and the running experiences, the author investigated the security and the flexibility if the type's set has taken on the peak regulating operation, verified the possibility that the type's set to adopt two-shift peak regulating operation, According to 300MW unit in HengShui Power Plant,studying the peak regulating operation economics of the type's set. Adopting the thought of the neutral line factor, the author deduced calculating formula for start-stop energy loss in two-shift operation, and verified quantitatively the economical feasibility of 300MW unit in two-shift peak regulating operation.
