Study On The Division Method Of Paid Peak Regulating And Free Peak Regulating For Fossil-Fired Unit In Power Markets

With the raising of the national consumption level and changes in the structure of power,led to a peak power of the poor to increase,the problem of the peak regulating for power grid is growing.In response to the SERC's file and to provide a level playing field for the fossil-fired unit who with different peak capacity,encouraging the power plants actively participate in peaking,the paper will look at how the peaking to impact the units in economy and security,and find the demarcation point of paid peak regulating and free peak regulating. Then combining of the whole power grid situation,using the ways of Convex hull and Minimum distance,Summaring the demarcation point of paid peak regulating and free peak regulating,make some of peaking capacity to be paid.Construction units for a level playing field and promoting the electricity market developing steady and harmonious.Finally,to the West Inner Mongolia Power Grid as an example,to verify the validity of the classification.
