In the modern electric power system,additive damping controllers of FACT and PSS exist synchronously,but in the research of small disturbance stabilization,the damping characteristic studys of such system with multi-controllers are few and become a weak link in this field.So in this paper a linear model of power system is established which is composed of generators,AC-DC line,TCSC and three controllers :PSS,DCM and damping controller of TCSC .And this model is used to analysing and computing two examples(one-machine and four-machines).The research concludes the total damping characteristics of complex electric power system;And the distribution of damping added into system by one controller when the other two have been in the system;And the transfer law of damping when adjustable parameters of one controller is changed and the other two controllers'are fixed;And the law of three controllers affecting each other in the every condition.These conclusions could give some advices to coordination control of the complex electric power system.
