The Plate-cone reticulated shell is a new type of space structures developed from reticulated shell structures. Researches of this structure type in our country are lacking. Based on the investigation of the already-existent researches, the wind resisting characteristics of Plate-cone reticulated shells are studied in this dissertation.Compared with tall and towering structures, there are little data on wind-induced vibration responses of large-span space structures including shell structures. So it is urgent to solve this technical problem. For lack of calculating analysis items in design codes and systematical researches on the wind-induced vibration response of shell structure; the wind-induced effects of Plate-cone reticulated shell according to its structural behavior are mainly discussed in the dissertation.
