Most of concrete bridges are turning old , at the same time the design standard and loads are raising continuously with time. So the old bridges have been put forward to consolidate for useing continuously. Carbon fiber strengthen material (CFRP) consolidates to the structural of reinforced concrete that is a new and efficiency technology of consolidation and restoration, it is more convenient, efficiency and applicability than traditional consolidation structure. In the other countries, CFRP have been applied extensive in the fields of civil engineering such as house, bridge and tunnel, is especially used in structure consolidate. And CFRP has become a hot problem of the world of civil engineering. Using CFRP to glue on the under edge of concrete beam, can rise to ultimate load and improve of rigidity and crack of the structure. But the flexural strengthening and force mechanism of CFRP reinforced concrete beams is waiting for system research. Because of the concrete beam are consolidated by CFRP contains three kinds of materials, and use simple calculation formula to calculate this kind of structural is different from actually, and some laws are nearly impossible to be discovered. With the development of the theory of finite element, We use the software of ANSYS to build the model of CFRP reinforced concrete beams,calculate,analyse and compare with the test result. The analyse results show the flexural strengthening of CFRP reinforced concrete beams can be forecasted and simulated accurately on the basis of reasonable finite element numerical model. At the same time, the numerical research work may be a reference for the further research .The structure analysed is carbon fiber reinforced concrete beams in this paper. The consolidate technical development history is elaborated, and the technical characteristic is explained in the paper. This structure is analysed with the software of ANSYS on thefoundation of test. The paper contains five parts, the first part is part of introduction, the second part introduces the basic theory of nonlinear analysis , and elaborates the method of mechanics imitation, and narrated the course of establishing of finite element numerical model , the solutions of various special problems and calculation method in detail. The third part introduces experiment condition simple , then have carried out numerical imitate on the base of the various experiment schemes. Then the test results compare with The numerical results , last the reasons for error , crack analysis, damage of them are analysed. The fourth part is base on the research contents and achievements of the program, some rules and conclusions of the tests and reasonable numerical analysis to put forward the reinforcement scheme of CFRP to consolidate the beams of the second hole of the TAO BAI NO.1 bridge and the reinforcement scheme of armor plate to consolidate the tiny curved boards of the bridge.In this paper, the complete nonlinear numerical analysis of the carbon fiber reinforced concrete beams is made using the finite element method . A series of reasonable methods are adopted to solve the problem of difficult converge in nonlinear numerical calculation of the beam. The nonlinear behavior of the beam is elaborated . The numerical results go accordance with the test results, then the reasons for error of them are analysed . The numerical results show that the flexural strengthening of carbon fiber reinforced concrete beams can be forecasted and simulated accurately on the basis of reasonable finite element numerical model and reasonable solution strategy .
