Experimential Investigation For Basic Resistance Of Meter-Gage-Track Locomotive And Car

KunHe meter-gage railway, a part of DianYue railway (Chinese Yunnan Province to Vietnam Hanoi City), was open to traffic in 1910 for about 100 years. It is an important international passage between China and Southeast Asia, which is only one using meter-gage railway in nation road net as yet, have been improved it's traffic volume rapidly. With the improve of the railway's technology recently, it's technology level is poor yet for it's typical mountain railway, lower built standard and lower traffic speed. Because it have no meter-gage train performance calculation procedure, we declared a project of Railway Department to investigate this question and aim to a whole set of regulations of train performance calculation.The investigation of meter-gage-railway train performance calculation procedure include a series of experiments and data analyze. In control of the project, the author of this thesis preside the investigation of train's basic resistance. In this thesis, we first give elaborate recommendations of the basic resistance experiment of locomotive and car, of which including the experimental method, line choice, experimental instruments, data calculation and computer-aided analysis, and verification of the formula of basic resistance, and confirm the final formula.During this project, we advanced using the continuous throwing method as the main experimental techniques, driving method as assistant. This experimental techniques and computer-aided analysis are base on the seek of the fact of meter-gage-railway, it is a detail solution to fit the character of the technology of the meter-gage-railway.
