The cable-girder anchorage zones of cable-stayed bridges, which bear giant cable forces and have complicated structure , are keys to structure design. It is important to know the stress distribution of anchorage zones well. Not only is the model test a useful method to deal with this problem, but also the finite element method is important to do with it before the model test. The finite element method is able to improve the model test and make up the deficiency of it. The Zhanjiang Bay Bridge applies the Cable-girder anchorage with tensile anchor plate. Author applied the general finite element program —ANSYS to analyze the Cable-girder anchorage with tensile anchor plate of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge. The content of the paper is as follows:1. The mechanic behavior, stress distribution and stress concentration of anchorage zone are studied and compared. The measures to reform stress distribution and to reduce stress concentration are discussed. Some useful conclusion is obtained, and it is beneficial to the design of bridges.2.With the cable tension, the stress distribution of Cable-girder anchorage with tensile anchor plate is gained ;3.The mechanic behavior of Cable-girder anchorage with tensile anchor plate is gained;4. With the change of thickness of deck, the cable tension distribution is investigated ;5.The change of the distribution of plastic zone and the yield load which are affected by the radius of plastic zone is studied, the plastic zone radius is at the end of welded seam which connects the tensile anchor plate and anchor bucket.6.With the thickness of tensile anchor plate changing, the range of plastic zone and the magnitude of yield load are investigated;7.With the thickness of tensile anchor plate and the radius of plastic zone changing, the range of plastic zone and the magnitude of yield load are investigated.By the work of this dissertation , more safer and more reasonable design and...
