This paper has introduced the job of the following mainly:1. An intact systematic structure and overall frame of "Civil Engineering Drafting Online Homework System" has been set up. According to function, this system has been divided into four parts: database server, visiting data component (Dbcom), application program of customer end (administrator system, student system, teacher system) and drawing platform.2. This paper has introduced COM, advanced technology nowdays, into development procedure of this system, has discussed a great deal of superiority that component technology has been used into the procedure of develop, and has put into Dbcom with the attribute and method of commonly used ADO. Component has the characteristics that coupling nature is weak and cohesive nature is strong. When system has occurred some error, we can orient the wrong component, even interface function rapidly. On the other hand, when changing in demand, we can limited to revising possible little component. For example, when user's interface or the database structure has been changed, we only need to revise component.3. A drawing platform has been set up with drawing function. This platform not only has basic function of drawing Descriptive Geometry graphic, but also increase by some functions directly against doing Descriptive Geometry exercises, the function of drawing oblique line of 45 degrees, the function of cutting and measure, the function of dividing straight line into equal length, etc. All of these functions has simplified drawing operation of teachers and students. Teachers and students can concentrate on key knowledge.
