Recently, distribution automation system (DAS) was developed very rapidly, and it has been extensively used in distribution system and electrical system. As a key branch of DAS, distribution SCADA (Supervisor Control And Data Acqusition) system has been one of hot research topics in recent years. In this thesis, substation SCADA system and application of ASVG in SCADA system are studied thoroughly.In the designation , Maluwan Jikong station is introduced in the thesis as a whole, the double-ring structure is used in the hardware design to ensure the reliability and stabilization of the system and component object model technology is used in the software design for the purpose of smooth upgrading.Some modules are emphasized in the thesis,including: configure and structure of database, ADO technology communication regulation design , calculation of voltage rate and application of MultiThread.Reactive power can bring much harm in Power System, but traditional equipment can't satisfy the requirement. The ASVG (Advanced Static Var Generator) is a new kind of reactive power compensation equipment. At present, the research on compensating reactive power using static compensation device is one of the most active areas in power electronics subject. In the thesis, the affect of reactive power and effect of reactive power compensation are introduced, the thesis show the principle of dynamic reactive power compensation.Then, the thesis shows the principle and control method of ASVG. In addition, the instantaneous reactive power theory and it's application to reactive power detection are introduced. Based on the theoretical reach done above, the thesis present a control method of ASVG based on Fuzzy control ? MATLAB simulation software is used in the thesis to compare the ASVG compensating effects for different control method, according to the results, the performance of ASVG based on Fuzzy control is better than that...
