Large-scale pipeline heating input water project always have a character of long distance, heavy flowing, pipeline getting with a varied topography characteristic on the way etc. These characteristics have determined that the pressure in the pipeline during the process of hot water being supplied will be very great. And high requirement is needed in the high-pressure pipeline assign. In addition, once water hammer accident happens in the pipeline, it often brings enormous losses. So as to the thing that large-scale heating input water project, rational pipe network assign is needed in order to reduce the pipeline working pressure. Water hammer calculating is needed at the same time to prevent water hammer accident from occurring. This thesis takes heating pipe network project of power plant of Luanghe river of Chengde as an example and makes a calculating research to hydraulics of inputting water project of the heating of the large-scale pipeline. Basic method that is used in hydraulics calculating is introduced in this article. And to the particularity of the heating project of power plant of Luanghe river this article have put forward a kind of new thinking of reducing the pressure. The heating pipe network project of power plant of Luanghe in Chengde is an inputting heat water project of a cogeneration of heat and power. The inputting water pipe network of this project is divided into a pipe network of first class hot water and urban hot water pipe network. The first class hot water pipe network is from the power plant of Luanghe to the city. It is a circulation heating pipe network. The urban hot water pipe network is the branch pipe network after the urban area. The main research of this text is the calculation of the first class hot water pipe network in Chengde. The research is divided into flow steady and flow unsteady calculating. This thesis firstly introduces the general step of flow calculating, then calculating of flow unsteady is made to the first class hot water pipe network.
