Then studies the hot theory and regional development strategy mode which influence present urban system planning and further investigates, have put forward four major mechanisms influencing urban system development and the planning methods to proceed with regional angle, applys GIS and mathematics statistical methods flexibly on planning in order to solve the practical problems, especially predicts population and urbanization level, makes the deep discussion on the choice of the central towns, function of towns or regions research and the application procedure of GIS.
