Urban district as the main symbol of the city image of prosperity and theworldwide urban development phenomenon, is a universal law and the inevitable trendof commercial civilization and socio-economic progress. At present, China has entered aperiod of rapid urbanization, massive urban district construction to promote the city’seconomic development at the same time, it also brings a series of space problems. Withthe attention of the people on the quality of urban space and space livabilityrequirements more and more urban district as the main space of the activities of dailyliving of the people carrier, its space-quality research is essential.In this paper, according to the characteristics of practical values for theconstruction of our country, in the city planning and the requirements of scientificdevelopment, fully absorb the experience and technology of existing research of cityspace quality, the factors affecting the quality of city commercial space structure, toconstruct for city commercial space quality evaluation index system, and in ChongqingNanping district as the research object, by to evaluate the quality of the space,commercial space and looking for quality improvement and optimization strategy from,provides a new idea for the mountain city of Chongqing to improve the livingenvironment and city space quality.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part (the first,2chapter): this part discusses the research background,purpose and significance, research methods and framework, and summarizes the systemof home and abroad for the city district, city space and city space quality evaluation ofrelated theory, and elaborated concept of city business circle and the city space qualitythe.The second part (the third chapter): Based on the above theory, combined with thecommercial space characteristics of internal and external factors that influence thequality of commercial space, the external factors include: natural population factor,economic and social factors, industry factors and infrastructure factors; internal factorsinclude material and non-material factors two levels, and constructing the evaluationindex system of city commercial space quality based on internal factors, divided into9levels and42factors of two elements. To provide a basis for evaluation of quality ofspace below for Nanping values. The third part (the fourth,5chapter): the Nanping district regional developmentbackground and spatial pattern evolution process, comprehensive demand of users fromthe space station in the user’s point of view, in the form of questionnaire through theAHP method to calculate the weight comprehensive subjective evaluation ofcommercial space quality; and then stood in the city planning the professional point ofview on the objective analysis of influence of each factor city commercial space qualityfactors, as elaborated and supplement to the comprehensive subjective evaluation, thefinal evaluation based on the above analysis concluded in Nanping district air qualityproblems.The fourth part (the sixth,7chapter): a summary of case studies and methods ofdomestic space to improve the quality of city, to solve the above problems in Nanpingdistrict space quality is summarized and put forward improvement and optimizationstrategy.
