With the development of modern technique, the objects being measured are becoming more and more complex. This requires the control system must know the synthesized information or some internal characteristic information of the object to be monitored to finish the required function design. In Former sensor technique, we just send the sensor information to a sole processor. But the control system now needs handle a big quantity of all kinds of sensor information. This means the information to be handled had increased greatly. At the same time, there also will exist some contradiction and some un-harmony among the sensor group. Under thus background, it brought about naissance of multi-sensor data fusion technique.In this article, we made a deep investigation to the multi-sensor data fusion system. At first, we introduced the development process, present situation, basic conception, theory and method of data fusion system. Especially we have a deep investigation to fusion structure and fusion algorithm of data fusion system. Then we analyzed the neuro-network algorithm that is the most active arithmetic among all data fusion algorithm in recent years. Also, we give a simulation example of neuro-network algorithm that use neuro-network to eliminate the non-objective parameter effectiveness.Ventilator is a required device of modern iatrology. Its control system needs to monitor much data and based on these data to choose a more suitable method to make the patient breathe more easeful. So, the veracity of the data is essential to the ventilator. Considering the advantage and character of data fusion system, if we integrate the thinking, algorithm, and structure element of data fusion into ventilator control system, the performance of the ventilator will increase greatly. In this article we referenced a lot of physical literature, breathing dynamics literature and ventilator control system literature. Based on these literatures, we integrated the data fusion into the ventilator control system to investigate various ventilator control parameter. At last, we use these theories above, base on the 32bit CPU architecture, construct a hardware and software solution scheme of ventilator fusion control system. Also, we give the simulation data of the fusion scheme.
