Hydraulic mount can connect the engine with the chassis of vehicle, it's primary function is to support the weight of the engine. More important function is to isolate the driver and passenger from both vibration and noise generated by the engine. In order to prevent the powerplant from damaging, the mount should keep the engine at the design location in the condition of car driving on uneven road, speeding up and down suddenly and swerving. So it's valuable to design high performance hydraulic mount.In this paper, a nonlinear analytical model of the hydraulic engine mount used in Audi-100 is set up and refined on the base of analyzing the structure and principle of the hydraulic mount. In this model, the shape of inertia track is taken into account and the amending coefficient, the simulation result is compared with the experimental data.The optimization model of hydraulic mount is established on the base of the former analysis, the optimization model has some characters as follows,1. Take the sense parameters as the design variable of the optimization, mainly consist of pump area of rubber spring (D1, D2) , the length of the inertia track(lf), the length(L) and width(W) of the section of inertia track, pumparea of rubber uncoupling membrane(D_m, d_m), take the force transmitted from the engine to the body to be minimize as the objective of optimization.2. Adopt the genetic arithmetic and apply the optimization tools of Matlab to work.3. The finite element analysis model of rubber spring is established, analyze the model parameter influence on the dynamic stiffness and optimize the structural parameters of rubber spring.Three results is concluded,1. The syphon coefficient infects on the performance of hydraulic mount in low frequency, the simulation of model including the coefficient fit well with thetest data.2. Through parameter optimization, the force transmitted to the body decreases than before, the isolation performance has been improved in low frequency.3. Optimization design about the rubber spring using the FEA can shorten the design cycle and reduce the production cost.
