More and more people concern diesel vehicle because of stronger power, better economy and less emission, but with the development of people's environment consciousness and more strict emission laws, EGR as the most useful technology in the world, which can reduce NO_X emission, has been get more and more attention from more and more nations. At the same time, when diesel runs in different altitude, because air density becomes different, the coefficient of excess of air has also been changed, so the work characteristic of diesel alters. Be directed against to diesel which running different altitude using EGR technology, researching the effect to his work characteristic, using air simulation system of IE engine, we research EGR system which affects these types diesel characteristic of 4100QB, 4100QBZ and 4100QBZL diesel when there are running at different altitude. Finding and exploring the relation for enhancing performance and factors of work characteristic which is to give an initial science basis to the applying and spreading for plateau diesel.In view of problem of inlet and outlet pressure different of turbocharged diesel, we need adopt some measures to solve it. After introduce all kinds of ideas, combining reality, we design a venture pipe system to solve the problem. And reaching the bad effecting of venturepipes which using for diesel.In this paper, we design EGR valve and cooler and connecting pipes that using for 4100QBZ diesel and simulated compute all kinds of EGR rate. After researching the changing relation between EGR system and power and fuel consume rate and smoke emission of nature intaking diesel. Using simulated air pressure system, we study the effect law of all kinds of work characteristic of 4100QBZ type and 41Q0QBZL type diesel, which are running at different altitude. At last we introduce some kinds of electronic control EGR systems, and further analyze their merits and defect.
