Research Of Urban Ecovillage Landscape Design

As global environmental problems are serious day by day, ecology thought is popularized gradually. Especially people's concern degree to the environmental protection undertaking intensifies in recent years. Building the natural and green ecological human settlements environment becomes the topic that people pay close attention to. The idea of the urban ecovillage arises at this moment, new developing disciplines, such as Landscape ecology and Landscape ecological planning theories begin to introduce into the design process gradually. However, doubt still exists to the relevant concept in our country at present. In addition, that which kind of method taking from the macroscopic to microcosmic could hold ecology in inhabited region view planning and design becomes one question to be studied urgently.This thesis analyses the construction background of the urban ecovillage. Base on domestic and international researches and dynamic status, the thesis also point out the necessity of studies of urban ecovillage landscape planning. And define the concept and characteristic of the urban ecovillage as well as ecology and landscape ecology basic theories. Later, the article analyzed the current situation of present foreign urban ecovillage on the basis of the materials of relevant samples. On above-mentioned foundations of summarizing, and according to relevantly theories, the text has carried on research and discussion to the method of landscape planning and design of the urban ecovillage. Finally, the article introduces the master plan design of Kunming Horti Expo Eco-communities to illustrate the main idea. Hope can offer some clues for the thing that will set up the systemic view planning and design methodology of urban ecovillage in the future through this research.
