Active Dynamic Vibration Compensator

The active vibration compensating technology is a new technology, which combines vibration theory and modern control method. Based on the achievements on active vibration control technology, this paper discusses the developments and applications of vibration active compensating technology.The author expatiated the causation and characteristics of diesel oscillating force, the principle of active vibration compensating technology. Then author analyzed the feasibility of active vibration compensating technology for diesel engine vibration control.The actuator is an important element of active vibration control system. According to the demands of active vibration compensating technology, the author designed an actuator and explained the operation principle of the actuator. Experiments proved that the actuator adapts to diesel vibration active control.A control system of the active dynamic vibration compensator was designed and a active vibration compensating experimental platform then established according to experiments requirement, the platform includes controller, actuator and its driver, exciter and its driver, structure be controlled, etc. The paper introduced the function, characteristics and use of each equipments. Then the article established a model using ANSYS and got the vibrating characteristics of the experimental platform through simulated calculation. The results of simulated calculation are consistent with those of experiments.The author designed a control regulation and compiled a control program using TMS320C50 DSP assemble language, and carried on experiments on the active vibration compensating experimental platform. The experiments show that the method is applicable and valid for diesel vibration active control.
