The study on the design methodology of centrifugal ventilator with low loss, high load and good performance under full condition is one of the frontiers in the field of turbomachinery development.Discussed the universal significance of re-analyse technology of 3-D entity based on parameter driving, the parameter driving technology is applicated in practice, in which the programming language PRG of I-DEAS is taken an application tool. From these practice we could conclude that the parameter driving technology is very efficient not only in integrating complex process but also in offering an close interface to optimum design. In this study, the first example is about how to quickly obtain bending stresses for gears, and the second example is how to automatically obtain the pressure distribution for waster turbocharger.Improve the centrifugal ventilator efficiency from 35% to 57% .The applications to the stacking design optimization and full 3D aerodynamic design optimization for an annular cascade demonstrated the validity, robustness and efficiency of this hybrid approach.
